Chasqui brings local knowledge, editorial guides and human coordination to travellers exploring Peru. Our next operating focus is Miraflores and the Lima stay. We want to connect the right traveller with an offer the provider can genuinely deliver.

The traveller pays no fee for our advice. Accommodation, meals, activities and transport are paid services. Our commercial relationship with a provider should follow a clearly attributable booking, under agreed terms.

A useful offer goes beyond a name and a rating. Room position, an actual view, noise considerations, breakfast arrangements, accessibility and arrival timing can change a decision.

Provide clear category information and current materials. With permission, our team can arrange photographs and an in-person visit. We distinguish our observations from provider-supplied information, and avoid extending a visit to one room into a claim about every room.

Share your public listing, address, responsible contact and current room or service information. Reviews provide context, but do not confirm a particular room, price or service for a future date.

We discuss important details directly with the provider and identify what still needs checking. Illustrative images in this page explain the model; they are not evidence of a property’s facilities or a claim that a business has joined Chasqui.

The shortlist should help the traveller decide. We aim to explain the advantages, relevant limitations and practical fit of each alternative, with additional options when useful.

A commercial relationship does not establish suitability. We want partners who can answer specific questions accurately and honour the offer they confirm. Any sponsored placement would need clear identification; it should not be presented as an independent recommendation.

Make the total easy to understand.

A quotation should identify dates, occupancy, room or service category, currency, total, taxes or extras that apply, included services, payment recipient and cancellation terms.

Any comparison with another channel must use equivalent dates, category, occupancy and conditions. We do not promise universal price parity or a lowest-price guarantee. A provider-funded commission is a commercial arrangement; it does not replace the need for a clear customer offer.

Chasqui’s proposed model is funded by commissions on eligible bookings attributed to its channel. The rate and commercial conditions are agreed with each provider; this page does not set a universal percentage.

Before working together, confirm the calculation basis, taxes, cancellations, no-shows, payment timing, currency, invoices and reconciliation process. The calculator on this page is an illustration only and does not constitute an offer or signed agreement.

Agree how a referral is identified: for example, a booking reference, a provider-approved code or an agreed referral register. Define when it is recorded, how you accept it and how existing contacts or duplicate enquiries are handled.

Bookings already made through another channel are not automatically attributed to Chasqui. Direct payment alone does not determine commission. Reconcile eligible bookings, cancellations and completed stays according to the agreement, rather than treating clicks as sales.

Name the person who can answer availability, category, payment and service questions for your business. Chasqui also needs a responsible contact for the request, with a clear next step when information is pending.

AI-assisted coordination and dedicated provider agents are part of the service being developed. This page does not claim that those integrations are already active. We can begin with a clear human process and develop the tools around verified needs.

The traveller may pay the provider directly using the agreed method. Any collection through another party needs a specific arrangement covering responsibility, confirmation, invoices and refunds.

This page takes no payment and creates no booking. Agree the actual payment route before offering it. Avoid requesting payment-card information in an initial advice conversation, and distinguish a quotation from a request and a confirmed reservation.

Use references that can be checked.

A booking reference should connect the agreed offer, provider acceptance and fulfilment.

The traveller needs a confirmation that the provider can verify. Include the service, date, relevant category, conditions and contact route. A reference or QR may help identification when a working validation process has been agreed.

A decorative code, enquiry ID or payment screenshot does not by itself confirm that the service has been accepted. Planned QR workflows are a development possibility, not an existing feature guaranteed by joining this page.

The provider remains responsible for the service it confirms and for the applicable change, cancellation and refund conditions. Chasqui helps coordinate the conversation and clarify what is pending.

Record changes to dates, categories, totals or included services and obtain the traveller’s acceptance where needed. Do not treat an unacknowledged request as an accepted change. A named person and a realistic update point make the process easier for everyone.
